DOUG COLLINS BIO

Doug has been entertaining Dubuque listeners for almost 25 years. He began in radio during high school in his native Janesville, WI, and worked for stations in LaCrosse, WI and Sioux City, IA before coming to Dubuque.

Although morning radio is his first love, Doug has re-invented himself a couple of times...restaurant owner, car mechanic, convenience store manager, farmer, just to name a few things on his resume. He currently works for the local stock car tracks as the track announcer and also has his voice-over company that keeps him busy.

Collins has been honored with various awards for his radio and television voice work and for his involvement with charitable organizations.

Doug's pride and joy are his two children, Christian and Veronica. He also holds his late daughter Karin close to his heart.

When asked how hard is it to get up every morning at 4am...he claims he doesn't really wake up until 10am.<-->
