They announced the nominees for this year’s “CMT Music Awards” . . . and Luke Combs, Ashley McBryde, Dan + Shay, Sam Hunt, Kelsea Ballerini, and Thomas Rhett lead the way with three each.
There’s a ton of first-time nominees, including Blanco Brown, Caylee Hammack, Gabby Barrett, Ingrid Andress, Riley Green, Travis Denning, The Highwomen, and, believe it or not, the “legendary” Tanya Tucker.
The show was originally scheduled for June but got pushed back because of COVID-19. Everyone will be following safety protocols. Artists are doing outdoor performances that will take place “in and around” Nashville.
This is a fan-voted show. You have until noon on October 12th to vote and you can vote more than once.
There are 14 semi-finalists in the Video of the Year category. They’ll narrow that down to five finalists on October 12th and voting on those will wrap October 16th. The show airs October 21st.
