A Tuesday morning crash south of Manchester sent two people to the hospital – with one of them being airlifted to Iowa City. The Iowa State Patrol reports 78-year-old Larry Fuller of Central City was driving south on Highway 13 near the city of Ryan. Authorities say Fuller went into the opposite lane to pass a motorcycle. As he did, he hit a northbound vehicle driven by 60-year-old Donald Allen of Manchester. Officials say Donald Allen was taken to Regional Medical Center in Manchester for a possible injury. A passenger in his vehicle – 61-year-old Sharon Allen, also of Manchester – was taken by helicopter to University of Iowa Hospital for treatment. The crash remains under investigation.
