Four Vehicles In Crash in Dubuque

A Dubuque woman was injured and cited after a multi-vehicle crash early Thursday along Highway 20. Police say 61-year-old Diane Shannon was driving west around 6:45 when traffic came to an abrupt stop. According to a report, Shannon’s vehicle did not stop in time and struck the rear of a vehicle ahead of her. The collision pushed the vehicle into another vehicle, and subsequently pushed that vehicle into another vehicle – involving a total of 4 vehicles in the crash. Police say Shannon was taken to Unity Point Health Finley Hospital for treatment of her injuries. She was cited with failure to maintain control of her vehicle.
