Highway 20 Officially “Medal of Honor Highway”

Although most in Dubuque know it as Dodge Street, Highway 20 now has another name to go by. Iowa is the latest state to dedicate Highway 20 as the nation’s “Medal of Honor” highway. Ceremonies were held recently in Sergeant Bluff – marking the occasion with new signs. Local officials say they talked with state lawmakers to drum up support and got the bill to the Governor’s desk. She signed it about a month ago. Highway 20 stretches more than 3-thousand miles across the nation from Oregon to Massachusetts.
