Dbubuque Woman Injures Two In Crash

A Dubuque man faces drunk driving charges after rear-ending a vehicle – and pushing that vehicle into another vehicle. Police say the crash happened around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon along the Northwest Arterial near the intersection with JFK Road. According to a report, 63-year-old Michael Howes struck the back of a vehicle being driven by 44-year-old Alfonso Scott of Dubuque. That collision caused Scott’s vehicle to hit another vehicle being driven by 69-year-old Rebecca McDonald of Dubuque. Police say Howes and Scott were taken to Unity Point Health Finley Hospital for treatment. Howes was arrested for operating while intoxicated and cited with failure to maintain control of his vehicle.
