New Trial Date For Dubuque Man Accused of Murder

A new trial date has been set for a Dubuque man accused of murder. 60 year old Mark Fishler is charged in the Iowa District Court of Dubuque County with first-degree murder in relation to the death of 80 year old Berniece Williamson of Dubuque. He previously pleaded not guilty to the charge. Fishler’s new trial date has been set for March 8th in the Dubuque County Courthouse. His trial previously was slated to begin November 9th. Hearings for Fishler have also been set for February 25th and March 4th. Williamson was found dead in her home on July 15th. Fishler told officers that he visited Williamson’s residence on July 14th to fix a leaky faucet.
