A northeast Iowa man will spend 10 years in prison after being found guilty of having sex with a girl under the age of 16. The sentence for 38-year-old Michael Fangman of Dyersville was handed down recently. Along with a 10-year prison term, Fangman must also register as a sex offender. He was convicted on 2 counts of 3rd-degree sexual abuse. Officials say Fangman sexually assaulted the girl in the fall of 2020. She told investigators she was extremely intoxicated when the assault happened.
