A 2-day sting operation by Iowa authorities resulted in the arrest of 11 men on charges of prostitution. Reports show among those arrested was 60-year-old Randy Wedewer, the Dubuque County Treasurer. In total, 8 men from northeast Iowa and 3 men from Wisconsin were arrested. This was a joint operation by Dubuque Police, the Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office and Iowa State Patrol. A 32-year-old Dickeyville man – Timothy Griffin – faces additional charges. He’s been charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police say Griffin had those items on him when he arrived at a hotel where under-cover officers were waiting. The investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.

55-year-old Timothy Murphy of Peosta
38-year-old Jordan Watkins of Bellevue
32–year-old Timothy Griffin of Dickeyville
63-yera-old Kevin Stanton of Cuba City
57-year-old Craig Mason of Stoughton
