Authorities say three people were injured when a vehicle hit an electrical pole Sunday in Jackson County. According to the Iowa State Patrol, two people were taken by ambulance and one person by private vehicle to Jackson County Regional Health Center in Maquoketa for treatment of their injuries. Their names have not been released. The crash happened at about 4 p.m. Sunday near Baldwin. A crash report states that the vehicle was eastbound when it left the roadway and struck the pole. Authorities are investigating the crash.
