Dyersville man sentenced to 2 years for sex crime

A Dyersville man was recently sentenced to two years in prison for an assault with intent to commit sexual abuse. 19 year old Jose Guzman Arroyo, entered an Alford plea to an assault with intent to commit sexual abuse charge. This plea is not admission of guilt, but an acknowledgment that sufficient evidence for a conviction exists. Court documents state that Guzman Arroyo assaulted the woman this spring in Dyersville.
