The Special Olympics Iowa’s Winter Games got underway in Dubuque with opening ceremonies last night. Athletes are competing in alpine and cross-country skiing at Sundown Mountain Resort, snowshoe racing at Camp Albrecht Acres in Sherrill and figure and speed skating at the Dubuque Ice Arena. The Special Olympics Winter Games conclude today.
