Woman Breaks Into Apartment, Threatens With Knife

Police say a Dubuque woman broke into an apartment and displayed a knife at the people inside the apartment. 34 year old Saint Theresa Sago of Dubuque was arrested Tuesday on a warrant charging first-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief. The warrant was issued Tuesday. Reports say police responded to an apartment on Hillcrest Road on April 15th for a report of a disturbance. 28 year old Jamie Betts, who lived at the apartment, reported that his ex-wife, 31 year old Stephanie Betts of Garnavillo and two of her friends came into the apartment threatening him and his girlfriend, 23 year old Janesha Brown-Hopkins of Calumet City, Illinois. Sago was one of Stephanie Betts’ friends. Sago threatened to stab Betts or Brown-Hopkins with a knife.
