City Council Votes To Have Public Hearing On Switch Homes Development Agreement

At their latest City Council meeting, the Dubuque City Council voted, 7-0, to conduct a public hearing on June 20 for a proposed development agreement with housing developer Switch Homes. The developer plans to construct 105 single-family homes in Dubuque on an 80-acre parcel located between the Northwest Arterial and Tiffany Court.  According to a report, the proposed agreement would allow Switch Homes to receive $4.3 million in grants from the city to help fund $10 million worth of infrastructure improvements at the development property, including the construction of streets, sidewalks and utility connections.
