Dubuque Man Injured in One-Vehicle Crash

Police say one person was injured in a crash in Dubuque. 68 year old Leo Simon of Dubuque, was taken by ambulance to MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. According to Dubuque police, Simon was driving east in the 2200 block of Coates Street around 1p.m. Saturday, when he looked down for a moment and his vehicle struck an unoccupied, parked vehicle. Simon was cited with failure to maintain control and failure to provide proof of insurance.
