University of Dubuque officials have announced the school’s next president. Travis Frampton who currently serves as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas, will assume the role on June 1. He will be the university’s 12th president. Frampton is 51. Frampton will replace the Rev. Jeffrey Bullock, who has been UD’s president since 1998. In March of 2023, Bullock announced that he had initiated plans to step away from the presidency. Frampton has held his position at Schreiner since July 2019. He also serves as the university’s liaison to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and the school’s Title IX coordinator.
