At the end of June, the Manchester Lions Club ended 83 years of continuous service to the community. For the past 25 years, the club experienced declining membership and more recently, a reduction in the ability to continue to provide meaningful service to the community. For the past 83 years, the Manchester Lions Club conducted its primary mission program, Lions Kids Sight Vision Screening, by conducting vision screenings across Delaware County at childcare centers, area schools and private appointments and at daycare providers.Â
