A Dubuque man has been sentenced to four years in prison for a domestic assault in Dubuque. 36 year old Pierre L. Springer received the sentence in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County after pleading guilty to charges of domestic assault with intent to inflict serious injury and first-degree harassment. The charges stem from a July 1 incident in which Springer was involved in a lengthy altercation with a woman at his residence.
