Police say an Illinois man has been arrested in connection with a string of vehicle and storage-unit burglaries in 2022 in Cascade. 28 year old James Sadler of Springfield, Ill., was arrested Monday at the Dubuque Law Enforcement Center on warrants charging one count of second-degree theft, two counts of third-degree theft, a single count of fourth-degree theft, two counts of fifth-degree theft, four counts of third-degree burglary and three counts of third-degree burglary-motor vehicle. Reports say that Sadler faces charges for a series of storage-unit burglaries and multiple thefts of property from vehicles parked at Cascade High School. The offenses occurred Feb. 15-17, 2022.
