A Dubuque man has been sentenced to five years of probation for a July assault. 30 year old Tylor Craigmiles received the sentence in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County after pleading guilty to one count of willful injury causing bodily injury. If he violates the terms of his probation, he faces up to five years in prison. The charge stems from a July 11 incident in the area of 19th Street and Central Avenue in which, reports say officers responded to a report of a man lying on the sidewalk. First responders found a man unconscious in a pool of blood. An investigation determined that the victim was sitting in front of a building in the 1800 block of Central Avenue and talking to another man. The victim stood up, and the other man punched him in the face once and knocked him unconscious.
