Authorities say three people were killed in a fiery head-on collision on U.S. 20 in Delaware County Sunday. The Iowa State Patrol reports that the driver and two passengers of a vehicle traveling east in the westbound lanes were killed in the crash, which occurred about 3:35 a.m. Sunday near Earlville. The eastbound vehicle collided head-on with a westbound vehicle. The 62-year-old driver of the westbound vehicle was injured. Both vehicles caught on fire. A report states that the identities of the individuals involved in the crash are being withheld pending notification. The crash drew first responders from Clayton, Delaware and Dubuque counties. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
