UW-Platteville cannabis course growing

A unique college course at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville is attracting more students than ever, as interest in the booming cannabis industry continues to grow nationwide. The state’s only class dedicated to cannabis production is seeing an increase in enrollment, with students eager to break into a sector that’s quickly becoming one of the fastest-growing industries in the country, according to other news sources. The courses are 24-week online programs that you can study on your own time. While Wisconsin’s cannabis market remains more restrictive than its neighboring states, the growing demand for education in the field isn’t slowing down. Developers of the course at UW-Platteville believe the industry’s potential will only expand as more students complete the program and prepare for careers in cannabis.  Despite the legal hurdles in the state, students who completed the program remain optimistic.
