Man assaulted, seriously injured another man in Dubuque

Police said a man seriously injured another man during an altercation in Dubuque. Myhkal J. Oliver, of Dubuque was arrested at 10:16 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of East 20th Street on a charge of willful injury. Court documents state that Oliver and another individual assaulted a man at approximately 2:11 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of East 14th Street and Central Avenue. The victim had multiple cuts and lacerations on his head and body. Police used traffic camera footage to identify Oliver as one of the subjects involved in the fight and he was later apprehended.
