Platteville will not waive building permit fees

The Platteville Common Council has decided not to waive or reduce building permit fees for owners replacing their roofs following the April 18th hailstorm. Instead, the council has created a grant program for owners whose insurance will not cover the permit fee. The deadline to apply for the program will be June 1, 2026.
