Drug Arrest After Report Of Shots Fired in Manchester

Authorities responding to a report of gunshots being fired in Manchester arrested two men on drug charges and detained a teenager. 21 year old Seth Chapman of Dundee, is charged with third-offense possession of a controlled substance, third-offense possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of a prescription drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. 18 year old Dayton Kearns of Hazleton is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of a prescription drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also, a 17-year-old was processed at the jail and released to his guardian. Police responded at about 10:50 p.m. on March 7th to South Third Street in Manchester after gunshots were reported. A witness reported seeing a vehicle leaving the area, and officers stopped the vehicle moments later. Inside were Chapman, Kearns and the 17-year-old. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of marijuana, amphetamines, and drug paraphernalia, including vape pens.
