Walker Hayes is going viral again, but this time he got some unexpected help. He was in a mall shooting a video for his new song “Y’All Life” . . . along with his 16-year-old daughter Lela and 12-year-old son Baylor.
A mall worker saw them dancing so he dropped his broom and joined them. When it was over they all had a laugh. Then Walker made the smart move of posting the full clip. He captioned it, “This dude jumped in like a champ.”
It’s only been a few days, but the video has already racked up almost 3 quarter of a million views on TikTok. The “Y’All Life” single is out today and yes, that IS an adjusted sample of Nelly‘s “Country Grammar” you hear midway through the chorus. In 2000, Nelly sang “I’m goin’ down, down, baby, your street in a Range Rover.” Hayes sings, “I’m goin’ down, down, baby, your street in my Bronco.”
