Intoxicated driver leads officers on 100 mph chase in and around Dubuque

Authorities said an intoxicated driver led officers on a high-speed chase that reached speeds of 100 mph Wednesday in and around Dubuque. 27 year old Edmund Laue, was arrested at 12 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Military and Oakland Farms roads on charges of felony eluding and second-offense operating while intoxicated. The vehicle reached speeds in excess of 100 mph on Key West Drive, which is a posted 35-mph zone. Laue’s vehicle came to a stop in the area of Military and Oakland Farms roads, and he was taken into custody.
