Two Vehicle Crash Leaves One Person With Life-Threatening Injuries

Authorities say one person suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash north of Bernard. The two-vehicle crash happened at about 6 p.m. Monday on U.S. Highway 151 near Larkin Road. The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Department, along with the Peosta Police Department and Bernard Fire Department, responded to the crash.  One of the drivers involved in the crash was taken to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City with life-threatening injuries. A release from the sheriff’s department says that the investigation is ongoing, and the names of those involved will be released later pending family notification.
