On Tuesday the Western Dubuque County Community School District announced the appointment of Ethan Lensch as the next principal of Western Dubuque High School, pending official school board approval. Lensch joins Western Dubuque High School from the Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center School District, where he served as the high school principal for the past four years. His extensive background also includes roles as an assistant principal/activities director, instructional coach, and at-risk coordinator in Guthrie Center. Lensch’s official start date will be July 1, 2024. He will replace Jacob Feldmann, who is transitioning to the Director of Secondary Education position in Western Dubuque Schools.
