The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) announced Friday the protected health information of nearly 20,000 Wisconsin Medicaid members might have been exposed due to a “security incident” with the group Disability Rights Wisconsin (DRW). DHS reported suspicious activity was found on a DRW email account, and the information of 19,150 people was possibly exposed. DHS said DRW is mailing notifications to people whose information might have been accessed. Those people will have access to a free year of credit monitoring. Those who are affected can also reach out to a dedicated call center at 888-733-3814 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. The call center will start taking calls on Monday, June 24.Â
