Three meat processors from Southwest Wisconsin will receive funds through an Infrastructure Grant Program from the State Department of Agriculture.  One of the requirements is the recipients must provide a match of 100-percent of the grant amount.  Bloomington  Meats Two (2) LLC was awarded a grant of just under $11,600. The Meat Schoppe (Shop) in Lancaster will receive just under $50,000 and Weber’s Processing in Cuba City was awarded the maximum grant amount of $50,000.
The Meat Processor Grant Program is now in it’s third year with the goal of growing the state’s meat industry and improving the long term viability of the state’s livestock industry
