Crews are putting final touches on the second phase of a major, multi-year renovation project at Dubuque Senior High School Tuesday. Construction of the first phase ran from 2016 to 2018 and cost about $30 million, while this second phase began in 2021 and is expected to cost just over $34 million as it concludes this fall. Buildings and Grounds Manager Rob Powers said workers will complete minor jobs such as waxing floors, touching up paint and installing furniture for the next few weeks, but the renovated spaces will be fully functional and ready for students later this week.
