A pair of downtown Dubuque streets are currently closed while crews work to address a gas leak. Eighth and Bluff streets are closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic in a one-block radius around the former KDTH building at 346 W. Eighth St., according to Cal Motsch, a division chief for the Dubuque Fire Department. Motsch said a gas line was struck on the southern side of the building, where crews were working to install a new power pole. He said Black Hills Energy representatives are on scene and are working with fire department staff to address the issue.
