A Dubuque woman who prosecutors said was involved in a conspiracy to distribute cocaine near multiple parks and local colleges was sentenced to more than three years in federal prison. 25 year old Elaina Pfiffner of Dubuque was given a 45-month prison sentence this week in U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids after pleading guilty in January to one count of conspiracy to distribute cocaine within 1,000 feet of parks and colleges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa. A release states that Pfiffner admitted she was involved in a conspiracy with other individuals to distribute cocaine from 2017 through 2021 near the University of Dubuque, Loras College, Madison Park, Jackson Park and Gay Park.
