Single Vehicle Crash In Dubuque Injures 2 people

Police say two women sustained possible injuries in a Dubuque crash. 23 year old Hope Donath-Gmur and 44 year old Tiffany Gmur both of Dubuque, reported pain after the crash and were taken to MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center for treatment,  A report states that Donath-Gmur was traveling north on U.S. Highway 61 at about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday when she began to hydroplane due to heavy rain. She then lost control of the vehicle and struck the concrete barrier in the median. The vehicle began to spin and once again struck the median before coming to rest on the shoulder.  Donath-Gmur was cited with failure to maintain control.
