One injured in accident near Wisconsin/Iowa bridge

On Wednesday at 7:00 AM 19-year-old Logan Braasch of Beloit, was driving south on Hwy 151 just south of Exit 1. While negotiating a right hand curve Braasch’s vehicle began to slide on the snow covered roadway. The vehicle slid sideways into the north shoulder and rolled 2 times coming to rest on its roof. Braasch was wearing his seatbelt and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Dubuque by Dickeyville EMS for treatment of minor injuries. All air bags deployed during the crash. The vehicle sustained heavy damage was towed from the scene. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Grant County Highway Department, Jamestown First Responders, and the Jamestown Fire Department.
