League of Women Voters of Jo Daviess County will host two upcoming candidate forums ahead of the April 1 election. A forum featuring candidates for Galena City Council will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. March 19, and a forum featuring candidates for Galena School Board will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 20. Both forums will take place at Galena Elementary and Middle School. The forums are free and open to the public, and the release states that all candidates from all races have agreed to participate. Candidates will answer questions presented by the League of Women Voters, as well as written questions from the audience.
