Harold Reid, who shot to fame as the bass singer of The Statler Brothers, has died. According to a statement on the band’s official website, Reid died on Friday (April 24) after “a long battle with kidney failure.”
ABC News reports that Reid died in his hometown of Staunton, Va., according to his nephew, Debo Reid. He was 80 years old.
