A former Cuba City man is up for parole next month – 30 years after killing a Grant County Sheriff’s Deputy. Gregory Coulthard is set to appear before the state parole commission. Coulthard was sentenced to life in prison following his 1st-degree intentional homicide conviction in the 1990 death of Deputy Thomas Reuter. Some of Deputy Reuter’s family has asked people to write letters opposing Coulthard’s parole. In a post on Grant County Sheriff Nate Dreckman’s Facebook page, he said those who wish to send comments about Coulthard’s potential release can email ParoleCommission@wisconsin.gov before December 31st.
